Need Help Citing?

Are you having trouble citing your sources? You have come to the right place. Check out the following information. If you are still having difficulties, please come and see Mrs. Johnson or Mrs. Gleek to get individualized help.
We use MLA 7 formatting here at GLHS. Remember this as you begin your process of citing sources. You can use the GLHS Style Manual to help you with specific sources. The English department has put this manual together as a simpler way to use the MLA haStyle_Manaul.JPGndbook. If you need to borrow a style manual or an actual MLA Handbook, you may do some from the library. You may also consult the
MLA & APA Reference Guide made by Easybib. This handout makes it simple to cite!

If you think the handouts & manual are simple to use, try using an online citation generator. These make writing a Works Cited even easier!

We have a school subscription to Easybib. This online generator makes it easy to format any works cited. When you go to the Easybib site for the first time, you will want to register to create an account. If you register from school, you will have access to Easybib premium services which allows you to write works cited with MLA, APA and Chicago style citations. If you need help using Easybib, go to the user’s guide. This is an easy walk through of the system. It will answer any questions you have.
